Skateaway Conditions of Entry

Please note that failure to adhere to any of the rules below will result in the immediate termination of your admission.

Make sure that your skates are correctly fastened.
Listen to the floorguard(s), DJ and staff.
Make sure that you skate in the direction advised.
Report all accidents to a member of staff.
Keep the entry and exit doors clear at all times.
Return all rental skates and blades at the end of the session.
Bring your own safety and protective equipment.
Wear socks – no socks = no skating. Long socks preferrable.
Cover any abrasions/sores/broken skin prior to skating to avoid aggravation/irritation
Understand that you skate at your own risk.
Do not sit or climb on handrails or barriers.
Do not skate at excessive speeds – no speed skating or tag.
Do not carry young children or infants if you are wearing skates.
Do not take food, drinks, bags, headphones or mobile phones onto the skating floor.
Do not perform jumps or spins at any time during the session.
Do not walk on the skating floor without permission.
Giving your skates to somebody else is not allowed and offenders will be evicted.

Unless booking a ‘Private Party’ please note that parties are held during public sessions.
No self catering permitted.
Booked parties have the option of buying an ice cream cake for $26.50 or bringing their own of which we will serve and cut for you.
Non booked parties (eg. just general skating) can also purchase an ice cream cake from us which we will serve for you. Please note: Ice Cream cakes need to be pre-ordered. If you are having a Non booked party & ordering an ice cream cake, this does not include a reserved table.
Patrons are welcome to bring personal water bottles.
Skateaway must be advised of any special food requirements in advance.
Siblings and parents of guest that are not part of the party pay normal session entry and hire charges if skating.
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required when booking a public party and a $200 non-refundable deposit for booking a private party.

$120 for a 10 visit card (skate/blade hire not included).
Can be used at any public session except the Learn to Skate class and can be used for more than one person.
No expiry date and valid at both Rollerdrome or Skateaway.
Can be purchased online or at the rink but must be collected at the rink after purchase.

Skateaway reserves the right to refuse entry to any person.
Persons will not be admitted if, in the opinion of staff and management they are under the influence of any alcohol or drug – NO EXCEPTIONS.
